Research
We researched consumer needs and behaviors as well as available transportation in the U.S. and across the world. Based on our findings, we determined that a high-speed rail system would most efficiently integrate ground travel while solving current transportation problems. Our system also includes a travel card, called the Starpass, as well as an app with apple wallet integration for ease of use.

Identity
Our brand identity is modern and fast. It stands alone from other US transportation identities. The star in the "S" alludes to the stars from our flag as well as stars in space, highlighting the futuristic feel. The wayfinding is also unique. With each train line named after constellations, it reconnects to the star motif. The rainbow color palette is inspired by the spectrum of light as if starline travels at the speed of light as well as retro futurism coloring systems.

Wayfinding
Inspired by modern airport signage, Starline's wayfinding system features a custom icon set, recognizable signage shapes, a color-coded system, dual languages, and more. Matching the brand identity, it stands out from the current commercial wayfinding. It is placed at every touchpoint along the user journey, allowing for easy navigation with no pain points.

About
Starline is a proposed North American cross-country hyperspeed rail system aimed at tackling the public transportation disparity in America. My team and I created a brand identity, wayfinding system, app, payment system, advertising campaign and proposed map to support the high-efficiently train system appealing to all citizens across our country. We carefully considered consumer behaviors and accessibility at various access points throughout the United States.
This was a project created for school over the course of 6 weeks. In my team I was in charge of branding, marketing, and wayfinding.

We researched consumer needs and behaviors as well as available transportation in the U.S. and around the world. Based on our findings, we determined that a high-speed rail system would most efficiently integrate ground travel and connect both coasts, while solving current transportation problems. Our system also includes a travel card, called the Starpass, as well as an app with apple wallet integration for ease of use.
